A few common questions.

Is my code ever sent to your servers?

No. Agent Studio runs entirely on your machine. The Studio Engine runs locally too; on paid plans, your custom engines and API keys also stay on your machine - Studio has no cloud component on the Free plan.

What is the Studio Engine?

A curated, ready-to-run model bundled with every install. No API key, no signup, no extra setup. It works for everyday tasks on the Free plan.

Why is BYOK gated behind Pro?

Configuring, routing, and binding custom engines per-role is more involved than running the bundled engine. Pro pays for the ongoing engineering on engine adapters, health checks, and per-role routing.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Your local data and task history under ~/.studio remain on your machine regardless of subscription state.

What's in the alpha?

Dashboard, Studio Pipeline, parallel workers in worktrees, approval gates, context inventory, the Studio Engine, and the desktop app.
